If you couldn't tell by the title. I hate the boobeam trap. Because it's an example of a badly designed boss fight in an otherwise really good game. I originally had an insane 2000+ word essay typed up about this, but then I realized that was excessive, even for me. So I'll just summarize it by saying that the boobeam trap is artificial difficulty at it's finest, due to the fact that beating it requires pattern memorization as opposed to actual skill.
