It's actually quite smart that Mega Man's search snakes are a different shade of green to Snake Man's. If you used it in the rematch (which you may want to, considering the Megaman 3 robot masters are weak to their own special weapons), you wouldn't get confused at which snakes were yours and which were Snake man's.
